K. Place Capri is seeking a passionate, attentive, and service-oriented Barista to join its Food & Beverage team.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and Restaurant Supervisors, the Barista is a junior operational role primarily responsible for the preparation and service of coffee, hot beverages, and other breakfast drinks, while contributing to a smooth and refined breakfast service.
The role requires particular attention to the quality and presentation of beverages, cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, and warm interaction with guests. The Barista works closely with the restaurant team to ensure that every guest receives prompt, friendly, and personalized service in line with J.K. Place standards.
The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality and coffee service, a positive and hands-on attitude, and a strong desire to learn and develop within a luxury hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve espresso, cappuccino, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and other hot and cold beverages according to J.K. Place quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure the efficient organization and daily set-up of the coffee station before and throughout breakfast service.
- Maintain consistent quality, presentation, temperature, and timing of all beverages served.
- Welcome and interact naturally with guests, responding courteously and promptly to their requests.
- Support the restaurant team during breakfast service, contributing to a smooth and efficient service flow.
- Coordinate closely with restaurant colleagues and the kitchen to ensure guest orders are delivered accurately and promptly.
- Maintain the coffee station, equipment, crockery, and working areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
- Monitor the availability of coffee, tea, milk, alternative milks, and other products required for daily operations, informing the appropriate supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Handle coffee machines and related equipment correctly and carry out routine cleaning procedures in accordance with operating instructions.
- Develop a good knowledge of the different types of coffee, tea, and beverages offered by the hotel in order to assist guests with their choices.
- Be attentive to guest preferences and special requests, contributing to the personalized service that characterizes J.K. Place.
- Be available to support other Food & Beverage outlets and operational activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Represent J.K. Place values through professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, teamwork, and a consistently positive attitude.
